Ceramic Plate Collection
Beauty often is most noticed when it is contrasted with its perceived opposite. I like to pay special attention to darkness versus light in the themes used. The viewer is invited to help ask and answer age old and difficult questions. There hides beauty in every moment, can you see it?
Experimenting with clay and colour has led to the development of my work. Layers of underglaze are combined, at different stages and with a variety of decorating techniques to realise the image.
